Job Summary

This is a position in the sales organization that will assist in the identification, qualification and management of direct and indirect sales opportunities.  The Sales Representative role is responsible for outbound and inbound telesales activities and will assist in the development of regional territories and channel partners.  This role could be the launching point into other strategic roles on our sales or marketing teams.

Job Duties

  • Create great interactions with prospects and customers by providing them with customer focused, value-based communications.
  • Partner and support others in the sales organization with the management of a geographic territory or account base.
  • Develop and present quotations and proposals in cooperation with sales team members and sales management.
  • Expand sales channels by researching, identifying and soliciting potential partners.
  • Assist in the qualification and the advancement of opportunities through sales stages.
  • Input all relevant sales data into CRM and assist organization maintain data integrity.
  • Assist in the development and design of marketing programs and materials.

Job Requirements

  • Data networking, telecommunication, hardware and/or software sales experience.
  • Experience working in or with the telecom channel.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum 2+ years of sales experience required.
  • Ability to determine customer needs and facilitate proposal process based on understanding of projects’ technical requirements and customers’ financial objectives.
  • Must have amazing interpersonal and communication skills, great attitude and tenacious drive.

Computer Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Environment

  • This position functions in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment.

Physical Demands

  • This position requires communications with others, handle computers, move up to 25 pounds (computer and presentation equipment).
