Windows 11 is coming – let’s proceed with caution.
Microsoft recently announced Windows 11 will begin shipping this fall. It will be available as a free upgrade to Windows 10 users. You are probably already seeing it in the news, in ads online, and even on your startup screen on your Windows machine.
Because we know how exciting a new operating system can be and how temperamental, we recommend you don’t push the “get the update” button for Windows 11 just yet. Windows 10 will be supported until late in 2025, so there’s no reason to rush an upgrade.
New operating systems often come with a range of issues along with fun new features. For your business, first and foremost, new systems need to be secure, stable, and support all your mission-critical applications.
Ecessa is joining forces with our sister company JDL Technologies, who works closely with clients to manage their IT systems. Together we can assure an orderly migration to Windows 11 when the time is right. If you would like to engage us for managed IT services or for a special Windows 11 upgrade project, please contact us.
