PowerLink and ShieldLink automatically detect the failure of a WAN link or site and redirect traffic among the remaining links and sites, while providing users with continuous service. They can also be configured in a high-availability mode with one unit acting as the active device, and a second PowerLink as a passive failover device. This eliminates the chance of the PowerLink or ShieldLink being a point-of-failure.
